Echocardiography
Echocardiography is an ultrasound examination of the heart.
The echocardiographic examination includes:
- Two-dimensional and M-mode examination.
- Color-coded flow mapping.
- Doppler study.
Our specialized cardiology team will examine adult and children with suspected heart disease.
a) Adult echocardiography covers:
- Ischemic heart disease.
- Valvular heart disease.
- Myocardial heart disease.
- Pericardial heart disease.
b) Pediatric echocardiography covers:
- All cases of congenital heart disease
- Foetal echocardiography can be done to assess the foetus before delivery starting from the 5th month of pregnancy to exclude any foetal cardiac congenital defect.
